Chris Hemsworth who has always played it safe when it comes to his sartorial choices did a complete u-turn on the Avengers: Endgame red carpet by wearing a paisley suit. Not a paisley tie, nor a paisley scarf, but a full-blown paisley look.
But here’s the thing, instead of becoming a meme, Chris Hemsworth managed to rise to the top of every best-dressed list by cleverly toning it down with muted tones. Extra points for his styling too. He steered clear of pulling any more stunts (the suit is a stunt in itself), by choosing a black tie and black dress shoes to further dial in the loud print.
However, it’s not only Chris Hemsworth who is a fan of head-to-toe paisley. Zachary Levi pulled a similar move just recently during the press tour of Shazam. And then there was Shawn Mendes at the MTV EMAs back in 2017 for those who would like to push the envelope. The singer/songwriter walked the red carpet in a bespoke The Kooples navy blue suit that had red paisley motifs, which he clashed with a polka-dotted red shirt inside. And that’s another way to go with the print.
